Vegetable and boiled plantain

Hey!!! foodies.

So if you are thinking of loosing weight some day , you would want to add this to your diet.  unripe plantain and vegetables is one of my favorite food. Honestly I don't know what I would have done without it.
if you are a foodie and you are from Nigeria and you do not like vegetables or unripe plantain then this post is not for you.
       While I was growing up , whenever my mum wasn't around my dad would cook this meal ,and make sure I and my siblings   finish it he was a good cook. This food reminds me of home, family, and the good old days. I'm sure you can relate.

     There are different ways to prepare this meal. But I prefer this method below.

5 steps to prepare unripe plantain and vegetable sauce.

      Ingredients
Unripe Plantain
Tomatoes
pepper
onion
garlic
vegetables  (ugu,curry leave)
Seasoning cubes
salt
palm oil
creyfish
Fresh fish(any protein of your choice)

      Method
Step 1

Peel and Cut your unripe plantain into shape, wash and cook for about 30mins or until it is ready.

Step 2
Dice ur vegetables and wash it, blend your tomatoes, pepper, onion and garlic together.

Step 3
cook your proteins separately with salt and seasoning cube

Step 4

Heat the palm oil  and pour the blended paste inside the oil, allow it fry for 8mins add your proteins your Salt with your cubes and creyfish, wait for another 3mins and put your washed vegetables inside the pot allow it to heat for 1 to 2mins depending on how crunchy you want your vegetable.

Step 5

Stir and Serve your vegetables sauce with the cooked unripe plantain.
